Some Pics From Queenstown (South Island, NZ)

Landing at Queenstown airport is a bit turbulent cos of all the mountains
Our little prop-plane (not shown) was jumping all over the shop - which was fun

The trip is supposed to take 6-8 hours and we did it in around five.

Ben Lomond is part of The Remarkables mountain range, visible here.
Dunno what sort of impression you'll get from this picture though

These are pretty serious mountains - if you had time you could easily spend a few months here.
Saying that, you'd need to plan food and water carefully as there's not that many shops around!

that's Ben Lomond - we zigg-zagged up the right ridge
